The Crucifix

This crucifix used to hang above the main altar of the church. It is more than ten feet high and now permanently hangs on the wall of the left wing of the church called the "Chapel of the Saints." The wood of the cross was ravaged by pests rotting it in the process.

It has been restored through the efforts of the Parish Commission on Temporalities. The main donor of the restoration was Mrs. Annie Fernandez and family. The same family donated the same crucifix during the time of Fr. Carmelo Carreon.

The services of Manny Obediencia were required to restore the crucifix at the cost of Php 25,000 for painting, Other materials for restoration were given by a local resident. The restoration project was undertaken within the parish church premises only.
